> One inbox, read by the founder: the release decision your team rebuilds by hand, a technical correction, joining the mission, or a long-horizon investment.

One inbox, read by Christopher Azar-Brandes: [chris@veldarium.com](mailto:chris@veldarium.com).

- **[Build with us](/work-with-us):** Shipyards, fabricators, suppliers and engineering groups where a release decision is rebuilt by hand: a revision whose downstream impact is unclear, a work package that may not be ready, material state nobody trusts, or an inspection blocking closure.
- **Join the mission:** Naval architecture, marine and mechanical engineering, controls, robotics, welding, fabrication, machining, production planning, supply chain, AI and software.
- **Industrial or technical conversation:** If we have something wrong about how this work actually goes, that is worth more to us than another diagram. The [systems map](/systems) is the thing to argue with.
- **Investment:** Long-horizon, industrial, and comfortable with a company measured in years. The [Investor Room](/investors) sets out the model and its risks.

## What a first message needs

- **Decision:** The release decision or answer the team keeps rebuilding by hand.
- **Sources:** The systems, documents, or experienced people consulted today.
- **Consequence:** What delay, rework, risk, or obligation follows when the answer is wrong or late.
- **Owner:** The person who would inspect the evidence and own the resulting decision.

The first reply: Whether a work-area deployment fits, and the read access and baseline it would need.

If it is not a fit, the reply says so directly, with no sales handoff.

## The company and its two systems

Veldarium is an American industrial technology company building toward AI-native shipbuilding: governed build state first, then bounded reasoning over it, production cells that execute only released work, a yard, and in time vessels, each opened by evidence from the step before.

- **VeldBuild:** VeldBuild is governed execution and production control: the deterministic, authoritative build-state system that preserves source authority, computes governed state, establishes whether work may start, and records approved transitions. It remains useful with no AI present.
- **VeldMind:** VeldMind is orchestration and bounded reasoning operating over VeldBuild state. It works out what deserves attention, traces the consequence paths a change opens, identifies missing evidence, preserves disagreement, abstains where the records cannot settle a question, and returns a traceable recommendation to the named person who decides.
- **Human authority:** Consequential industrial authority is assigned to a named person or role with an explicit scope. That person holds the decision. The software informs it and never makes it.
- **Physical execution:** People, suppliers, equipment, automation, workcells and facilities execute approved work. Evidence from that work returns to governed state before later work relies on it.

Today that means software: governance engines tested in Veldarium’s code, and public demonstrations on synthetic records.

**Destination:** Build an American shipbuilder able to design, supply, build, inspect, integrate, and deliver difficult vessels reliably.

## Contact

To discuss a first VeldBuild deployment, or the company: [chris@veldarium.com](mailto:chris@veldarium.com). Name the release decision your team rebuilds by hand. Do not send confidential information in the first message.
