Glossary
Veldarium works at the seam between engineering truth, production work and human judgment. These definitions explain the terms used across the public site.
- Build state
- The governed answer to what is true about a design, material, work package, revision, inspection or as-built record at a point in time.
- VeldBuild
- The deterministic state layer in development. It holds authority, revisions, dependencies and evidence without requiring an AI reasoner.
- VeldMind
- The bounded reasoning layer in development. It gathers established state, checks disagreement and proposes one traceable recommendation for a named human.
- Evidence
- A record with a source, authority and relationship to the object or work it establishes. A claim without established evidence remains unknown.
- Work package
- A bounded unit of shipbuilding work with a governing revision, dependencies, acceptance gates and a responsible owner.
- Human authority seam
- The explicit handoff where a named person decides whether a consequential recommendation becomes approved state.
- Synthetic
- Prepared teaching data used to explain the model. Synthetic records are not customer data, production telemetry or evidence that Veldarium operates a shipyard.
