Veldarium is building an American shipbuilding company. Its first control layer is software that tells a yard which work can start and who may release it; qualified production cells, a yard and its vessels follow.
Virginia-class submarines are bought at two a year. Navy officials put the build rate at about 1.1 to 1.2 a year as of November 2024, and the backlog of boats bought but not yet built is growing.
They do not validate Veldarium or any architecture on this site.
Veldarium’s hypothesis, not a finding of any source: No single cause explains these delays, and no single tool fixes them. A meaningful share of avoidable delay and rework happens at the interfaces between engineering, supply, qualification, planning, production, inspection and physical execution, and those interfaces are worth attacking directly.
Can this work start? Change the program and ask again.
Throw a switch; VeldBuild answers from the records. In the full case, one drawing change reaches 2 objects, misses 1, and for 1 nobody knows yet.

Not readyA gate is known to be open. It names who owns closing it.
OpenConfigurationChange CFG-029 is open against Rev C; the route is held until Rev D is released.
OpenMaterialKit: 2 of 9 spools held, because Rev D re-specifies them; they clear when the reworked and remade ones are accepted at receipt. The material to do the work at the governing revision is not on hand.

What is real today, and what is not
Exists
The mechanisms run together on authored records a reader can inspect. Tested code in Veldarium’s software computes every answer in the case.
Synthetic
Every record, cell, figure and person in the case. Veldarium operates no yard, crew or machine.
Research
The outside findings cited above. They describe the industry and prove nothing about Veldarium.
Unknown
